Today, we’re sitting down with powerhouse actor Logan Marshall-Green, who has spent decades carving out an extraordinary career from the stage to the screen. His story begins with famously turning down a role in Terminator 3 in order to finish his MFA. In this episode, Logan takes us through his raw and honest journey, from battling intense imposter syndrome on the set of Ridley Scott’s Prometheus to eventually finding his camera “sea legs” and learning to trust himself on screen. We dive into what it was like to get into an unscripted, physical scrap with Richard Gere in Brooklyn’s Finest, direct the legendary Ethan Hawke in Adopt a Highway, share the screen with Al Pacino in Killing Castro, and step onto the epic scale of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. Plus, Logan shares his invaluable “walkaway” audition philosophy: a mindset that teaches artists how to let go, trust the work they’ve done, and keep moving forward.
These are the unforgettable stories that landed Logan Marshall-Green right here.
