You Deserve to Be At the Table

Over the years, Michael Mosley has captivated audiences with the characters that he has portrayed on television and film. From a pastor who found God after a traumatic experience to a hard-to-catch serial killer, from a narcissistic EMT to portraying political operative Kenny O’Donnell, he has proved time and time again that he can do it all in both comedy and drama.

This year, Michael stars in FOX’s new sci-fi thriller, “neXt” opposite John Slattery. Created and executive produced by Manny Coto (“24: Legacy”), the series follows Silicon Valley pioneer Paul LeBlanc (Slattery) as he discovers that one of his own creations — a powerful A.I. called neXt — might spell doom for humankind, so he tries to shutter the project, only to be kicked out of the company by his own brother, leaving him with nothing but mounting dread about the fate of the world. When a series of unsettling tech mishaps points to a potential worldwide crisis, LeBlanc joins forces with Special Agent Shea Salazar (Fernanda Andrade) to fight an emergent superintelligence that, instead of launching missiles, will deploy the immense knowledge it has gleaned from the data to recruit allies, turn people against each other and eliminate obstacles to its own survival and growth. Michael shines as CM, Southern ex-con hacker with a genius IQ who works at the FBI cybercrime division. “neXt” is slated to premiere on October 6, 2020.

Michael was recently seen starring in Netflix’s crime series, “Seven Seconds” opposite Regina King where he played Detective Joe “Fish” Rinaldi. He was also seen in Netflix’s critically-acclaimed drama series, “Ozark” as Pastor Mason Young. Additional television credits include starring on USA Network’s “Sirens,” ABC’s “Scrubs” and “Pan Am” as well as recuring roles on ABC’s “Castle,” DC Universe’s “Titans” and CBS’ “Criminal Minds” to name a few.

On the film front, Michael stars in the indie biopic, “Sister Aimee” [1091 Media] that premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. Set in 1926 and based on true events, the film follows the most famous Evangelical woman, Aimee Semple (Anna Margaret Hollyman), who is fed up with her own success and gets swept up in her lover’s, Kenny’s (Mosley), daydreams about Mexico and finds herself on a wild road trip towards the border. Additional film credits include “Peppermint” [STX Entertainment], “LBJ” alongside Woody Harrelson and “Hot Pursuit” [Warner Bros.].
