Tiana Okoye is an actress and musical theater powerhouse from Rancho Cucamonga, California, and a UCLA musical theater graduate. Known for breaking barriers, she has often been the “first Black” performer cast in iconic roles, including Elsa in Frozen at Disney and Carrie in Carrie: The Musical in Los Angeles. Her extensive stage career includes performances at the Hollywood Bowl (A Chorus Line, Mamma Mia!), live television musicals (Grease, Hairspray), a Broadway run in The Cher Show, and numerous regional productions throughout Los Angeles. While recovering from vocal nodules, Tiana shifted her focus to on-camera work, booking her first co-star role on Silicon Valley followed by a guest appearance on The Good Place. After The Cher Show closed, she nearly manifested her dream NBC ensemble comedy—until the pandemic intervened—but soon after landed a series regular role opposite Luke Kirby in Panhandle. Her recent credits include Mrs. Davis and Twisted Metal, with more comedy on the horizon in the highly anticipated new series Barbershop.
