Devin Kawaoka can be seen as Charlie on “Shrinking,” the Apple TV comedy series with Jason Segel and Harrison Ford. Charlie is the boyfriend of Brian played by Michael Urie and season two is airing now – episodes will air through Christmas Day. He has also been recurring on NBC’s hit series “Chicago Med” portraying first year surgical resident Dr. Kai Tanaka-Reed the past few seasons and that is airing now as well.
Previously Devin has appeared on multiple television shows including “Lucifier,” Marvel’s “The Runaways,” and “Criminal Minds.” In 2022 he starred in Jeremy O. Harris’ award winning “Slave Play” at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. The show received 12 Tony nominations becoming the most nominated non-musical play ever.
