British American actor Guy Burnet is on a rare career streak that combines critical prestige and commercial success. He was most recently seen in Christopher Nolan’s Oscar-winning Oppenheimer, the highest-grossing biopic of all time and a film that redefined global awards conversations last year.
This fall, he stars opposite Jeff Daniels in Reykjavík, a political thriller recounting the 1986 Reagan-Gorbachev summit. He’ll also appear alongside Samuel L. Jackson in The Beast; an action feature centered on a covert military experiment gone wrong. Burnet recently wrapped a key role in Season 2 of Netflix’s hit FUBAR, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, and co-starred in the buzzy SXSW sci-fi feature Odyssey. He will star in Landman Season 2 premiering on November 16.
Guy’s prior TV work spans The Feed (Amazon), Counterpart (Starz), Ray Donovan, The Affair, and Hand of God. In film, he’s worked with legends including Christoph Waltz, Willem Dafoe (Dead for a Dollar), Johnny Depp and Gwyneth Paltrow (Mortdecai), and appeared in the worldwide hit Pitch Perfect. He also earned acclaim on Broadway, with The New York Times calling his debut “brilliant.”
With his expanding global presence, cross-genre range, and growing list of top-tier collaborators, Burnet is right on the cusp—and exactly the kind of actor your readers want to discover before everyone else catches on.
