From comedy to drama, rising actress Aparna Brielle has earned a reputation in the entertainment industry for her ability to bring dynamic characters to life on screen. This year, Aparna reprises her role as Tina in season 2 of the Netflix hit comedy series FUBAR, starring alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Monica Barbaro. Set against a global backdrop filled with spies, action, and humor, FUBAR follows CIA operative Luke Brunner (Schwarzenegger), who, after retiring, uncovers a family secret and is forced to return to the field for one final mission. Aparna quickly became a fan favorite as Tina, a sharp and resourceful NSA analyst temporarily assigned to the CIA, who constantly finds herself navigating a world of terrorists, gunrunners, and nuclear weapons.
Season 1 of FUBAR premiered worldwide in May 2023 to critical praise, with media outlets noting that the series “keeps you on the edge of your seat” (Decider) and TV Guide praising the “terrific” supporting cast. Season 2 of the highly regarded series is set to premiere globally on June 12, 2025.
From 2018 to 2021, Aparna played the role of Sarika on the NBC sitcom A.P. Bio, portraying a sharp and occasionally sarcastic student in a high school biology class taught by disgraced Harvard philosophy professor Jack Griffin (Glenn Howerton). The series helped garner Aparna a loyal fanbase, and was praised for its unique, offbeat comedic style.
In 2022, Aparna took on a leading role in the Netflix limited series Boo, Bitch, starring alongside Lana Condor. Her portrayal of Riley, was notably fierce as she took on the queen bee mentality while navigating the frenemy relationship her character has with Condor’s. Additional credits for Aparna include roles in Grimm, The Librarians, Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life, a leading part in The Dead Girls Detective Agency, and Mech Cadets.
