Rebecca Hall is a British Actor, Writer, Director, and Producer. She’s the daughter of stage director Peter Hall and opera singer Maria Ewing. As a child Rebecca broke into the entertainment world with a role on the TV mini-series The Camomile Lawn and the feature Don’t Leave Me This Way.
She subsequently took a ten-year departure from the screen, attended the University of Cambridge, and acted on stage before she appeared in Christopher Nolan’s thriller The Prestige and later starred in Woody Allen’s romantic comedy Vicky Cristina Barcelona (for which she received a Golden Globe nomination).
Throughout her almost 30 year career, her brave and exquisite artistry has lead to multiple awards and critical recognition. Rebecca’s credits include The Red Riding Triology, The Town with Ben Affleck, BBC’s Parade’s End, Iron Man 3, Transcendence with Johnny Depp, The Awakening, Frost/Nixon, and The Gift opposite Jason Bateman. Her work in the critically acclaimed drama Christine is unforgettable as is her role in Tales from the Loop. Be sure to watch Rebecca in Godzilla vs. Kong which will be released late 2020.
